Either way, we’re pumped for this revamping of the Superman series by Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder. Especially Trailer #2, which takes an even MORE Terrence Malick-esque turn than the first teaser trailer did. Opening night, come hang with us; we’ll be there.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

This spot was especially fun, as our President Dan Koch hails from the Bay Area in Northern California and grew up taking trips to this very aquarium, just blocks from Steinbeck’s fabled Cannery Row. Fond memories swam around him like a school of yellowtail, and this video pretty much captures what he was feeling. Thanks to our friends at Marmoset Music for the collaboration.

Bands We Love

Over at Milk and Honey we always have a record on blast. Right local folk-pop act Ivan & Alyosha is on heavy rotation. After a stellar set at South by Southwest Festival the band has been gaining national recognition. They are currently on a west coast tour and will be playing at the Neptune Theater on August 24th. We’ll see you there!

Shatter Sessions

If you haven’t been to the Museum of Glass it’s definitely worth the trip down to Tacoma. Local Seattle agency Creature put together a great campaign for their tenth anniversary called the Shatter Sessions. The museum is hosting bands to come and try to break glass with their epic sounds. Where do we sign up???

Thanks to Portland Music House Marmoset Music for landing us a TV spot with Corona Light! Stan is a recent college grad stuck in the rut of eat, work, sleep, and brown beer bottles. When ordering Miller or Bud Light becomes just another part of the routine, Corona Light offers something different. We were fortunate enough to soundtrack Stan’s break from the mundane in a spot that AdWeek describes as “rhythmic and musical“.

It’s been a busy month! Again, our lead composer has landed a TV spot via Portland Music House Marmoset Music. This time it’s for TD Ameritrade and their recent retirement plan campaign. This spot is about the Mayan Calendar and featured a Matt Damon voiceover. Dreamy! If we ever meet Matt, we’ll finally have something to talk about.
